It has been raining almost nonstop since I have been back on the east coast.  It makes me miss the desert and my dry weather when I wake up to a dreary morning and overcast sky all day.  Mornings are definitely the hardest.  Everyday I wake up it's like a ton of bricks hits my chest and stays there until I get up and get ready for the day.  The trick has definitely been to keep my mind busy.  I can actually force myself to pay attention in class if I have a pencil and highlighter in my hand.  Sometimes I will randomly highlight sentences just look like I am taking notes.  As the cold weather comes it reminds me of Kevin and I's first summer together in Cedarville.  Our whole crew would gather and build giant fires and have a great time for hours.  Nothing is better than being surrounded by friends and the beauty of the outdoors while relaxing and having a good time after a hard day at work.  When Kevin and I met were were literally together 24/7 for the first 5 months of our relationship because we worked together and had to live in the barracks together.  We ate breakfast, went to work, and hung out the rest of the day after work.  After all that time together, I still couldn't get enough of him.  How could you with that amazing smile?  The picture above is from one of the bonfires our first summer together.
